Sonoma County is set to receive federal grant funding for coronavirus relief. Officials said yesterday that the county will get nearly 18-million dollars in grant money. The Department of Health Services will use the money to expand the county’s public health workforce, lab testing, as well as other goals. One of the focuses remains on health equity, as supervisors and health officials again pointed to the disproportionate gap in vaccine accessibility for the Latino community.
