2 Oklahoma Towns Receive Millions In Funding To Improve Water Systems

HARTSHORNE, Oklahoma –

Two rural towns will receive millions of dollars in funding from the federal government to improve their ailing water systems.

Haileyville Public Works Authority received more than $1 million in loans, and more than $3 million in grants. Hartshorne Public Works Authority received more than $7 million in loans and nearly $3 million in grants.

This is all part of the USDA’s water and waste disposal loan and grant program.
